A Better Way to Make Decisions Together

Voice • Vote • Value (V3) is the Fearless Household framework for making shared decisions while preserving God-given agency, honoring individual stewardship, and seeking genuine unity.

Every voice is heard. No household is overruled. Stewardship remains with the steward.

Why Voice • Vote • Value?

Unity without coercion.

Groups usually solve disagreement in one of two ways: someone takes charge, or the majority wins.

Both can get a decision made. Neither guarantees unity.

In a Fearless Pod, we seek something different.

We believe every person possesses God-given agency and every household has stewardship for which it is accountable to God.

Voice • Vote • Value provides a simple process for honoring both while still allowing a group to act together.

Three Simple Principles

Hear. Discern. Steward.

VOICE

Everyone is heard.

Every participant has an equal opportunity to contribute before a decision is made.

  • One person speaks at a time.
  • No interruptions.
  • No cross-talk.
  • No campaigning.

We listen to understand—not to win.

“Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”

James 1:19

VOTE

We seek unity, not a majority.

Voting isn't used to determine who wins. It is used to discover whether the group is ready to move together.

  • A participant may Consent or Withhold Consent.
  • If everyone consents, the Pod moves forward.
  • If someone withholds consent, the proposal rests.

No pressure. No lobbying. No winners or losers.

VALUE

Stewardship stays with the steward.

Your home, resources, time, talents, property, and responsibilities remain yours to steward.

  • A Pod may invite.
  • It may coordinate.
  • It may create opportunities to serve and share.
  • It does not compel.

Value is created when households voluntarily bring their different gifts and stewardships together for the good of others.

“Every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

Romans 14:12

How V3 Works

A decision moves through four simple phases.

01

FRAME

What are we deciding?

The Acting Servant clearly states the question or proposal.

02

VOICE

What does everyone see?

Each person speaks in turn—offering a new idea, support, concern, reservation, or simply passing.

03

DISCERN

Are we ready?

After one or more Voice rounds, the Acting Servant listens for alignment.

  • Is the proposal clear?
  • Have concerns been heard?
  • Is there peace rather than pressure?
04

CONSENT

Can we move together?

Someone moves to consent. Someone seconds. Each participant then chooses: Consent or Withhold Consent. Unanimous consent means the Pod moves forward.

The People Who Protect the Process

Two seats. No rulers.

Acting Servant

The Acting Servant facilitates the process but does not control the outcome.

  • protects every Voice
  • prevents interruptions and debate
  • keeps the group focused
  • watches for pressure or coercion
  • tests readiness for consent
  • protects anyone who withholds consent

The Servant serves the process—not a position.

Acting Record Keeper

The Record Keeper preserves the Pod's shared memory.

  • decisions
  • voluntary commitments
  • action items
  • stewardship assignments
  • proposals that are resting

The Principle Beneath the Process

Agency.

Voice • Vote • Value is not designed merely to make meetings better. It exists to protect something deeper.

We believe unity cannot be forced. Stewardship cannot be confiscated. Generosity cannot be compelled.

And belonging should never require surrendering responsibility for your own household.

Voice • Vote • Value gives Fearless Pods a practical way to seek common purpose while preserving the freedom and stewardship of every person participating.

We seek unity without coercion.
